Towels in banking offices

Posted in Banking on September 21st, 2007

With winter fast approaching, banking offices are getting ready for old man winter. They’re adding towels, coat racks and other items to their lobbies to gear up for winter traffic that arrives and needs to remove coats, hats and boots and even dry off from wet weather before conducting their business. SOme banks even set up hot chocolate, tea, coffee and hot apple cider stations and offer free beverages. This slows down customer transactions and people don’t mind waiting. They are even opening more accounts while they wait, reading banking brochures about new checking, savings and other accounts that are spread around.
